A Look at MAS Tax Accountants for 2017

It is set to be an exciting year at MAS Tax Accountants. Across Australia, our offices are preparing for a big year of business development and providing premium Tax, Accounting, Business and Financial services. To give you an idea of how our network is progressing and what you can expect to see from us this year, we have put together a quick MAS Tax Franchise Update.

Victoria

Victoria continues to hold a strong position within our network, being home to a majority of our offices. With over 30 offices spread across the Melbourne metro, suburban and greater areas, our Accountants provide a wide range of services and advice.

Melbourne is a bustling and continuously growing city, and our offices will be focusing on helping more clients this Tax Season. An important part of our MAS Tax Franchise Update is the announcement of our pop-up tax returns shops this Tax Season.

We will be running a handful of pop-up tax return shops in shopping centres in the Melbourne area. This will allow our Accountants to not only meet with more clients, but create simple and time effective appointment opportunities. As we will be in the shopping centre, clients can easily make walk-up appointments and we can process the tax return while they do their shopping.

New South Wales

Sydney and surrounds is another area with a strong office presence, but we are hoping to grow our New South Wales network. Known for its beaches and national landmarks, Sydney is a fast-paced and quickly growing city. Despite its competitive market, our Sydney based offices are doing quite well and continue to make strides in their businesses.

Our Business Development Manager makes regular visits to our Sydney offices, to assist with their business planning and act as a liaison between offices. We like to ensure that all of our offices are provided with the needed support and that our Head Office is kept up-to-date on their plans and goals.

Queensland

We currently have a few offices in the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas, but we are looking to strengthen our Queensland network. There are several available locations within the Northern and Greater Brisbane areas, as well as in regional cities and tropical Queensland. These areas hold positive potential and great opportunities.

We have found that our business model works very well within the Queensland market and our offices have successfully built lasting client relationships. One of our Directors regularly visits Brisbane and the Gold Coast to consult with clients and check in with our Queensland offices.

Australian Capital Territory

The ACT may be small in size, but it is big in potential! We have one office in Canberra and their business is preforming very well. Assisting both individuals and small businesses with their Tax and Accounting matters, our Canberra office makes an excellent contribution to the network.

Western Australian

We are currently experiencing rapid growth in the Perth and surrounding areas, with a few new offices recently joining the network. We are very excited to for these new offices to be part of the MAS Tax team. We have been working with them to kick-start their businesses and ensure that everything is running smoothly.

As the mining boom starts to wind-down, many people are turning their focus to running small businesses. This has created a demand for professional and experienced Business Accountants to assist clients to set-up and manage their Tax, Accounting and Business responsibilities.

We will also be holding a few pop-up tax return shops in the Perth area.

South Australia

Our Adelaide office is one of our senior franchisee members and has been a part of the network for several years. The office continues to go from strength to strength, assisting clients with a variety of Tax, Accounting and Finance services.

We only have one office in Adelaide, so it is an area that holds a lot of future potential for new network members.

Northern Territory

We do not have any offices in the Northern Territory, but we would love to see a MAS Tax office in the NT!

While Darwin is one of our smaller capital cities, it is still a busy and popular area. There is a lot of potential for our network and business model to succeed in Darwin.

Tasmania

There are currently no MAS Tax offices in Tasmania, but we looking to expand our network to our southern-most state.

Hobart is an excellent, well populated city in which our network could do quite well in.

Financial Planning

Within our greater network, we also provide Financial Planning services and advice to many of our clients. We have an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL), allowing us to offer expert financial advice and assist clients with preparing for their futures.
