Networking in the Local Area – Connecting Local Businesses in South Yarra
May Shen held a networking event at MAS Tax South Yarra in February, and those who attended took part in valuable business strategy discussions lead by local business coach David Chin.
Over a delicious lunch the group were introduced to each other and to some clever ways to grow small business and retain existing customers.
The presenter began a debate over single loop and double loop strategy-checking and this, blended with more informal chats between managers of very diverse local businesses, made the sharing of ideas and motivations extremely lively and beneficial to all.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at the next event, to let us know how taking these new ideas and opportunities into everyday practice has made a difference.
Many heads are better than one, and the local area will only grow more prosperous with a shared vision, referral of clients to other local businesses, and regular discussion and support for one another’s success.
